Obvious.

It was in the bus that I felt sleepy. Coincidentally one of the conversations that I had with a friend involved explaining to her that Muslims does not encourage sleeping during Maghrib time (roughly 7ish till about 8).

I took some medicine as it was beginning to feel painful to swallow and I was really sleepy already. It was only 7 and I was ready to sleep!

The azan for Maghrib finally sounded and it was past 8 and for some reason, I felt that it was too late for a nap, too early for bedtime. Said that thought to bf and he said but you're already sleepy right?

Good point. So I went to bed at 8!! EEEEEEEE.. super early.

I had a fantastic triple-date/mini-vacation with Nazim's Parents, his sister and her bf and of course Nazim. :D

It started with me being a grump cause I was tired and hadn't packed and God knows I hate to pack!! He was thankfully patient about it. I woke up late the day I was to head off to Nilai but managed to make it just in time.

Maybe it's the long distance relationship but I get this odd sense of relief whenever I see him. I just can't help smiling.

We made our way to A Famosa Waterpark, which I had visited a few months back with Nazim only to celebrate my birthday. Both visits were fun okay? I love his mom! Also, spending any time with Nazim especially when he's been so busy lately is good for me.

And I do have to say that although I haven't lost a significant amount of weight yet, my stamina has improved! The waterpark includes a lot of stair climbing before you get the thrill ride down. The first time I visited, I was bent over losing my breath and I had to take a five minutes break once I reach the top just to catch my breath. PATHETIC! This time around, I managed to keep my breath steady. It was still quite a workout yes, but it was bearable. :D :D :D

Nazim's parents booked a villa with a swimming pool. The kids played cards while the parents watched football. The next day it was everybody swimming as soon as we were up and we played silly race games. Including piggyback races, even with the girls giving the guys a piggyback ride. HAHA!

Was supposed to play paintball but it didn't work out. Thank God! I just don't feel like shooting his mom or his dad!! That would be SO wrong.

We went for go-kart instead, Nazim played archery and I got a horse ride.

Unfortunately, I felt quite itchy after either the swimming pool or the go-kart. I have small little bumps all over which I thought were chicken pox. Thankfully it's not... though they're still quite itchy. Oh well.

Oh on this mini-vacation, I found out that he saves my number as "boss"!! ROAR!! So now whenever he calls me, his name appears as "kuli." Padan muka!

.

I think it was just yesterday or two days ago when I saw you online, had a brief conversation about a lecturer and found out that we will be taking a same class this semester.

It was a few months before that that I occasionally asked you questions regarding college (which you patiently answered), or laughing at your witty status updates. I'll always remember the conversations we had where you were considering to change major because one provided a better opportunity for jobs. Your reason for concern was that you were the eldest and you wanted to help support your family. I thought that was very kind and noble of you.

We share the same birthday, and you wished me before I got to wish you.

It was during our group project that you found out we had the same birthdate. You were so excited, now every birthday I shall say a little prayer to the person who should be celebrating on the same day as well.

We convinced each other to go Zorbing, which I am so glad I went. It was definitely an unforgettable memory filled with thrill and laughter.

It was a lecturer who randomly placed us in a group... and I'm so glad that he did. The reason being that I got to know such a fun, bubbly and wonderful person.

I waited the whole day today for you to come online to ask why weren't you in class today and that we had a new lecturer.

I barely got to know you and I feel the loss. I can't imagine what your close friends and family must be feeling. Rest in peace, Sandra Wong.

because I said I would blog more often.

College is fun... and I'm enjoying it not because a lot of people are telling me to enjoy it (before you have to be an adult and work and bills and tra la la) but because I actually am enjoying it! My schedule is awesome, no Monday blues for this girl! Tuesday is a little packed from 8 to 6 but thank God I have two awesome college friends who will accompany me on that dreary bus trip home.

During normal hour, a bus ride home would be max 30 minutes which is inclusive of waiting time. During rush hour, it can take up to even more than 2 hours. There's a particular stretch of road where it's a slow crawl and it's always jammed and the bus will be particularly crowded... and you wouldn't understand if you weren't there and weren't tired but I swear I feel like crying!!!! That's how bad it is... and it really irks me that all these cars that are crowding up the streets each has only one driver in it. Malaysia should really have a carpool rule during rush hour. Imagine if the rules were implemented and that each car driven during rush hour needs at least two people in it, the amount of cars on the streets would be HALVED!! I don't think me writing that down on a blog that not many read is going to actually make it happen but at least now I have friends to talk to and keep me entertained and hey harus control macho maka saya tidak akan menangis! haha. Also, thanks to a awesome schedule, I only have to go through this once a week!! Not bad :D

The awesome schedule doesn't come drawback free. I'm stuck with two lecturers who really can't teach. One of them is not so bad now considering that the other one is so awful that anyone else would seem okay. It annoys me like hell but at the same time I also feel sorry for her. She's really sweet actually but I think she lacks confidence and the fact that her English is quite bad doesn't really help. I hate lecturers/teachers who can't control the class. I'd prefer a strict and boring lecturer than a sweet lecturer who will just let the class get noisy and talk together... cause then I wanna talk too! Ngahahaha. Hope I didn't miss out on anything important.

Speaking of missing out, I missed my first class today! Roar. I was rolling in bed and laughed to myself thinking, "wouldn't it be funny if I woke up late today and missed my class" that was when I looked at my hp and yes.. it was exactly 2 minutes since my class has begun. -___- Oh well...

I have a mini-vacation planned for this weekend. Yee!

Debaran.

Wuargh.

Woke up today at 3 a.m. and rolled around till 7 a.m. :p By then I was pretty energetic and pretty much in a "taa-daaah" state where I can jump, dance and perform with jazz hands if required (which is a first this year, since I've been sick since NYE)

My sis was heading to the doctors and my mom thought I should tag along eventhough I swearz I was feeling better. Just the usual phlegm, though sad, pathetic me is horrible at getting rid of phlegm. My mom said I was wheezing so I'd better check.

The doctor held the stethoscope at my chest and I was breathing deeply then she asked some questions, mind you questions that needed long answers, so I was answering her then she scold "eh breath-lah!" She proceeded to ask me further questions -___- non-medical related sheesh!
So yeah, I'm wheezing... and um, having never had this before, I had no idea what it was. The first thing that came to mind was Wheezing Weasleys' something something from Harry Potter. :p

This is gonna be a long post, bertahanlah.

So the new set of meditation made me drowsy. Fell asleep and woke up still feeling woozy! Roar. Then my phone rang and it was a representative from Watson's, she needed to check whether I was the one who posted the entry "Drink up my smile!" (eh why did I come up with that stupid title. geli dengar!) and whether I still had the original receipt.

HOH. Jantung berhenti. Original receipt was from my mom, passed to me while I was wearing grey bag. Keluarkan to type the receipt number then put it down on the floor next to my bed. Did I put it in my grey bag back again? Because I did spring cleaning on that bag. -__-

"Do you need time to find your receipt?" YES! I said, 10 minutes will do. It has got to be in my wallet or I really don't know what. She told me the judges would like to doublecheck all finalists' has their original receipt before making a decision. Oh tak menang lagi... but there's a chance.

It wasn't in my wallet. It wasn't in my grey bag. It wasn't on the floor next to my bed. It just wasn't on the floor. I know, I've checked twice.

I was still not discouraged. This is Intan's bedroom we're talking about, the one who should have rightfully won Ikea's Messy Room competiton last year (I'm still bitter, screw yew!) It's a wonderland of trash that never really got thrown away. It has to be somewhere. IT'S ON THE DRESSING TABLE! *bangga*

Waited for the call back but I wasn't so excited. After all she told me the judges hasn't made the final decision yet. :D :D :D And when she called back, :D :D :D

:D :D :D

:D :D :D

I won third prize!!!! 30 seconds of shopping spree. 30 seconds of dgn tak malunya di khalayak ramai grabbing everything in sight! EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.
Did I mention I need a new eyeliner?

And my sister, one day, looking at me seriously. "This" She held a Revlon Cylindrical Tube of Foundation to my face.
"THIS.

Remember this. I want this. Nak habis dah. Remeeeeemmmber!"

And my mother who chirped in that she wants Olay stuffs... and some other stuff. Then I went all huffy puffy to her and my sister, "Intan yang masuk competition"

"Mak punya receipt" hahahaha. mampos.

Okay, the reason why I wrote the note panjang lebar because facebook was mean to me just now!!! I can't access my profile at all... even from another account. I wanted to WRITE IN ALL CAPS LETTER AT MY STATUS THAT I WON... tapi facebook tak kasi masuk.. so saya merajok. Tulis panjang2 puas hati! Wekkkk..

I won! I won! (I know I won third place.. but it's so hard to say I won third place! I won third place) So yeah I won! I won!

To those who voted, thank you. To those who didn't, if you HAD voted.. maybe I could have won number 1 huh!!!! LOL.

***

I still think there might be a catch what do you think? They blindfold me or something? Heck, I'm going to scout that Watson's area beforehand.. pergi buat map and everything. HAHAHAHA.

Or or.. you can only take home what you can carry. I'm wearing outfit with lots of pockets and bra longgar. HAHAHUEHUAHUEHUAHUHEIUHIHAPSIJHOGBOPSJLD. Okeh, when I'm happy, I get silly.

I WON! I WON!

Saying Yes.

Have you ever read the book Yes Man? or at least watched the movie? I prefer the book honestly but that's not the point. The point is I'm in that state where I'm constantly saying no.

Or at least saying yes at first, then finding some lame excuses not to go.

I don't think a lot of people notice. Some persistent friends do. I suppose I should start saying Yes more. Though I definitely won't be Yes Girl who says Yes to everything. *gasp* What if a stranger offers a chocolate to me and ask me to step into his van? What if a sleazy guy walks up to me in a bar and says, "Let's go somewhere where we can be alone?"

Okay both unlikely scenarios, since I am on a diet and also I don't go to bars. But still... saying Yes to everything can be dangerous.

Here's a little Yes that I was trying desperately to change into a pathetic, excuse-giving No. A friend offered me a job designing logo for her company. Something that I always said I want to try and when an opportunity is handed right to my face... all I want to do is run away. So, lunch meeting later to discuss stuff. Gah!

Also, while we're talking about resolutions (which I've made plenty of btw) and one of them I've been keeping up quite well is to exercise six times a week. :D Actually you're supposed to have two rest days in a week (or so I read), however one of those six days is really a relaxing, short detox yoga... AND also, I feel quite restless if I don't exercise for a day. I've managed to keep this up for a month so let me see if I can keep it up for a year. You could probably already guessed that another related resolution is to lose weight right?

Yeah. Some people have vanity for their reason or health. Those are some of my reasons anyway but the main reason why I want to lose weight is rather silly. It motivates me like hell anyway, so have a listen (and laugh if you want to) my boyfie used to be able to give me piggyback rides... and even though now he says he's able to; I simply don't think it's possible without him breaking his back in the process. So yeah, I wanna lose weight because I want a piggy-back ride. :( Desperately.

I'm doing just about everything that can help. I've decided to go Meatless once a week. Good for the environment, your digestive system and kind to the animals. Heck why not? Okay maybe I'm flattering myself too much. After all it's just once a week... but it's a huge deal for me! And once a week equals to 52 days a year of me not eating meat. That's not bad for a start? Don't count on me going completely vegetarian though, sorreh! And another which is to sleep early and wake up early T_T NOT POSSIBLE FOR ME! I just have difficulty sleeping, I've tried Yoga for Sleep and it worked for a few days. Somehow, I've developed immunity for it. I've tried self-hypnosis prior to that, same case. Now I'm loading some hypnosis video and relaxing music on Youtube. Hope this works.

Oh, also I want to blog more often. Reading archives makes me nostalgic. I have to be more candid this time around, I was so cryptic last time that now I have absolutely NO IDEA who I was referring to back then. Ka ka ka... and to be less emo-nemo. kthxbai!
